Today, Boise has a change in weather.
Cold and wet.
I headed out for a slog. After fueling with 2 cups of coffee – if I would have ate anything, I would have came up with more excuses at why I should not go. I headed out layering with a tight tank, a Nike running jacket I am going to wear in Seattle, Pearl Izumi fleece lined pants, a wool beanie, and Black Diamond gloves that I wear all the time.
Went I went out the door, there was not snow, but a drizzle of heavy raindrops.
See, the ground is wet.
I did just over 2 miles around my neighborhood. I figured, hey, this will be what Seattle is like. Cold and wet. So I sucked it up and kept on with my slog.
Just as soon as I got to the end of my block, it started to snow. Little specks of sadness. I have to work outside in this tonight. Looks like I will be taking my Patagonia fleece thermals with me tonight. Breaking out all the winter gear today.
Those little dots are snow. Wet, cold, snow.
Mr. Garmin says 2.4 miles with an 11:48 average pace.
