Cravings

Posted on December 8, 2011 by runinboise

I have lots of cravings. Usually it is something carby, like bread or chocolate.

It is often my sweet tooth acts up.

Like, everyday.

Holla! Yeah, I attempted Challah once and it didn’t rise since the house was cold. But it was tasty!

I am not one to deny myself something I want, either.

But, before this whole marathon thing, I ate a lot of salads. I think it even helped with some weight loss.

I am now craving said salads.

With the BF home alone for a few days after Thanksgiving and the dread of dealing with the super busy and super packed Costco, we have ate the fridge bare. I like to get the super big packs of spinach and broccoli and carrots and use that as a base for a salad. Everyday. But with no Costco visits for a couple of weeks, that means I have to get smaller packs of veggies at the grocery store, and they get consumed pretty fast.

I forced my BF to go to Costco today to get salad veggies.

This is seriously a first. I never thought I would be one of THOSE girls that eat all healthy and crap and crave salads. I used to make fun of the BF eating spinach everyday, and now I am doing it too!

There isn’t even any chocolate or sugar other then the natural carbs the veggies come with!

My tummy will be shocked and happy with this salad I made for dinner tonight at work.

Spinach, carrots, broccoli, chickpeas and cottage cheese.

Now, I have to take care of my nearly a pot of day coffee craving.
