Booze, Berries, and Getting Faster

Posted on August 8, 2012 by runinboise

Today was a run sort of day. I did 4 miles in 90 degrees. I kept seeing my garmin at the beginning of each mile go under 10min/mi so I walked a little extra every mile so I wouldn’t die. I was getting a little dizzy in spots and at the end of 4 miles, I felt like puking. But I didn’t. So I guess it was a successful greenbelt slog.

Best pace 6:07. What? What?

Here is some things of my day today.

Berries on the greenbelt ready to pick. I didn’t pick any but maybe this weekend! I did however, get some amazing organic Pluots yesterday. I will be consuming my 3rd Pluot of the day soon!

There was NO booze. My heart is broken. Don’t tease me like that!

What was your workout today? Did it involve booze, berries, or running?

Those berries look yummy!90 degrees is hot hot hot! Been the story of my life all summer. But just imagine how awesome 70, 60,40's will feel in a few months! 🙂

The last few weeks have been miserable. Hovering around 100, give or take a few degrees, for the last few weeks. I am SO ready for fall weather!
