While I am still on my running/blogging/social media sabbatical, (aka i’m being hella lazy) I still want to have some sort of relevant connection to all of you. I miss all of you! I have a giveaway post that I need to just hit PUBLISH on (serious! It’s been waiting for over a month!) and I want to tell you all what I have been up to (Race review! So much YOGA that my HANDS AND FEET have DOMS!!! Netflix obsession-I watched that Breaking Bad everyone is talking about! Job searching-blah! Preparing for the Fusion Awards!) But, until I get my butt back into the running/blogging groove, here is an update that I mostly stole from a Blue Circle Sports email, which some of my own info added at the end. 🙂

Overview: The 12 week fall half marathon session is designed to end the day before the City of Trees half marathon but will also prepare members for other half marathon distances or help take their training to the next level. Runners of all ability levels are welcome to join us but we recommend that you have 3-6 months of consistent running 2-5 days a week prior to starting a half marathon training cycle. Our goal is to help you complete a half marathon comfortably by the end of the 12 week training period and help you set and reach realistic training goals in the future. We exist to inspire, motivate, and equip you to love running. By relying on group support and accountability as well as coaching feedback, we can help you finally meet your training goals.
All runners will receive a training plan that can be modified to fit their schedule, with 3-5 workouts to complete on their own during the week. Runners will be organized by pace on Saturday morning group runs and will encouraged to network with other members to meet up during the week for other training runs. Participants should have a good pair of running shoes, a way to carry water (we will provide aid stations but members must cary their own container) as we are a “cup free” training group, and a basic watch with a start/stop feature. Runners will also be given a digital copy of helpful stretches, nutrition tips, and race strategies to help them in their training. Runners will also receive a (not sure the % discount offered) off registration for the City of Trees half marathon on October 13, 2013. Other benefits include but are not limited to: awesome self-esteem, great new running buddies, a sweet runner tan, and the satisfaction of knowing that you are getting in great shape! Feel free to call or email coach Nate with ANY questions, I would love to talk with you about your training goals!
