Week In Review – Week 2 – 100 MILE Training

Posted on September 19, 2016 by runinboise

Here we go onto week 2 of my hundo training!

Monday – Scheduled rest day but since I didn’t do anything the previous couple of days before, I had to get a couple of miles in. The other half is still not feeling well and I did a few minutes on my elliptical and walked 90 minutes on the treddy.

Not my dream elliptical but it was cheap.

Tuesday – I got 1 mile in on the treddy. I adjusted the belt because I think it was slipping. I thought I was going to get a few more miles in after I went to the Clif ribbon cutting, but it didn’t happen.

Wednesday – Yep. Nothing here. The other half even got on my case about it. BUT I look up 3 races to run in California and Oregon at the end of this month.

Thursday – 90 minutes on the treaddy. I ran / walked as my right knee and glute was causing me grief. Other then that, I felt pretty darn good on the treddy.

Friday – Since my extra bonus rest days, I am moving around some of the schedueled training. I did today’s run yesterday. But I did 5 miles.

Saturday – My slackerness in training is showing. We went out of town all day so no running was to be had, but I did walk a few miles outside according to my phone.

Sunday – Another no running day as I was on a sewing kick that I had to take advantage of. I made a skirt that I plan to wear on vaycay later this month, and possibly a half marathon that I am completely untrained for.
