Well, I am done with twatter. I got suspended because I was guilty of “suppress information or engage in behavior that manipulates or disrupts people’s experience on Twitter.”

What I did was flag posts that appeared to be from a hacked account. One of the healthy food bloggers that I have followed for a long time was posting in chinese. She is not chinese and what was being posted was not normal for her account. So, I flagged the posts. As in a few. Less then 10 posts. I can’t recall how many because it was late at night and I really only scroll twitter before bed. So in short, a account I follow got hacked, posted a ton of chinese shiz, I flag the posts and get suspended.

I wasn’t using twitter much anymore because I’m not crazy about the current and upcoming changes. The whole ” X ” name is a little cringe and the be everything to everyone app concept is a little too big brother to me. But getting suspended does hurt like a long term relationship break up. That depressing and lost feeling. I mean, I was a twitter user for well over 12 years. That is a long time in internet years. But I was rarely posting anymore as some of the people I followed were in the same boat. They stopped posting. Their lives changed and were not posting running or fitness related content I was wanting to see. I added other health, fitness, and running related accounts to keep stuff on my feed but it was easy to scroll through my all my feeds posts daily. Not many posts happening my accounts I followed anymore.

It appears I am done with the whatever app. Its been deleted from my phone. I did add Bluesky on Monday. I had the invite for months (since MAY!) I don’t yet have any invite codes to share, but if I do, I will share!

I was thinking about doing a twitch stream of my daily workouts but have to work out my workout room a little better. Its a little cluttered at the moment. I do spend a lot of time on instagram during the day and scroll on threads before bed. Either way, I have social media options and I know sometimes break ups are for the best.
